Feb 2016 to Oct 2017
The original Mt Archer home was built in the mid 70’s and was the first house to be built on Mt Archer. The original design was quite innovative at the time with the design of the house taking into account - the views, protection from the prevailing wind, the different heating effects on the house from winter to summer solstice. The clients wanted to modernise the remarkable but very tired building, with the vision that the final product would be a unique and everlasting home nestled humbly into the Central Queensland bushland.
